I taught fourth grade for six years before I ever showed a house. Both jobs turn out to be the same job: explain clearly, be patient, and never let anyone feel stupid for asking.

From the classroom to the closing table
I grew up in Massapequa, bought my first house in Seaford, and sold it the hard way: wrong agent, wrong price, wrong advice. That experience bothered me enough to get licensed in 2014. Eleven years later I have closed 214 sales, almost all of them within fifteen minutes of my own front door.
I still work like a teacher. You will see the comps I used, the flood maps I checked, and the math behind every number I say out loud. If the honest answer is “do not sell yet,” that is the answer you get.
The agency behind me

I am a Licensed Associate Real Estate Broker at Jacko & Shore Realty, founded in 2012 by Jack “Jacko” Caruso and Dana Shore. It is a mid-size Long Island brokerage with a real office on each shore: Babylon for the South Shore, Huntington for the North. Twenty-four agents, one standard, and a broker-owner who still walks basements.
What that means for you: I am the single person accountable for your sale, with a full back office behind me for contracts, marketing, and the dozen small emergencies every deal produces.
The numbers
Katie told us our house was worth less than another agent promised, then sold it for more than either of them said. In eight days.
